The first Chicago Kindergarten College publication was created in 1900, and a regular periodical began publication in 1905. First titled Alumnae Annual, the publication went through various iterations and name-changes, but always maintained focus on highlighting activities of the school and its alumni.

Our Guidon began publication in 1922, in the interest of the "Builder's Fund", whose purpose was to raise funds for the building of the new school campus in Evanston, Illinois. Contains information for alumni, faculty, students, and staff of NKEC and NCE, as well as special event information. 1922-1947 contained in 4 bound volumes.
