Biographical / Historical

Carol Moulden began her career at the National College of Education in 1969 as a library staff member. Prior to her employment at NCE, she received her M.A.L.I.S. from Northern Illinois University. In 1976, Carol transitioned into a full-time faculty role within the library, where she served with dedication until her retirement as an Associate Professor in 2022. During her long tenure at NCE, later National Louis University, Carol also held the position... of Interim Dean of the Library, contributing significantly to the growth and evolution of library services at the institution. As one of the longest serving members of National Louis University, Carol taught credit courses and served as the library's Faculty Senator for numerous terms. Carol's research interests include distance learning library services, adult continuing education, library research methodology, and academic planning.
